Call crumpler themselves. Ask if you could get a triangle of the stuff that they use to cover that spot. The velcro that they use on my bag is strong enough where I can pick the whole bag up with out it opening with my 5DMKII and 24-105 +accessories in it.

I ended up getting rid of the 7MDH. I guess the whole "wacky image over functionality" thing finally got to me. I think I'll get a Domke F-2 and see if it works any better for me.

Body: t1i
Lens: 17-55, 50, 55-250, will be adding 10-22 (and possibly prolly remove 17-55).
Flash: 430ex
Small stuff: battery charger, other random small items.

Surprisingly, all of these items fit in the lowepro Sling100 (the small 1) with no trouble, even has an extra pouch for personal items, and I love the waterproof raincoat that is hidden away. But I have a terrible itch to get a crumpler.

Some questions, with the 55-250 attached to the body and the 2 or 3 small lens and 430ex, will this fit in a 5,6,7mdh?
Thinking I need the 6mdh or 7mdh? Thanks.

The 3 million dollar home was on sale recently for about $26 shipped.
I don't know why its so rarely mentioned but I had to do a lot of searching before I managed to figure out what it can fit.

So right now I have the Canon XT with ebay grip (not the battery pack) with a 28-135mm lens mounted. It fits nicely and I like it so far. I guess it might be a bit harder to pull out but that's mostly from the added bulk of the grip. I can stuff some accessories in it but probably not too much more. Overall I like it, its better than the generic messenger bag I previously used which was unpadded.

I would say with that camcorder (estimating its size to be about the same as a 70-200 f/4) your wife would be ok with the 5MDH while you would need the 6MDH.

I would say the 6MDH. 7MDH would definitely be very roomy. 5MDH might be doable if you only had the two zooms, but if you had the 17-55, 55-250 and 10-22 plus the 430EX then you should definitely go with the 6MDH.

Thanks for your note. I ended up getting the 5mdh.

I purchased a 5mdh bag today. And two extra dividers that you use as inserts in the main chamber. It allows me to house the flash under the body when the body is holding 18-55 or 50mm. If I remove the false door and relocate the flash, the body can hold the 55-250mm and I can squeeze the flash on the right with the 50mm and 18-55mm. So in the bag, 1 flash, charger, 3 lens (1 on body). And wires, batteries, caps, etc.

This bag holds everything you see in the pic and also my canon sd890is, sorry, all the pics are from the pocket camera, sorry folks. To be clear, the Slingshot100 holds all this gear and a few more extra gadgets/small items.

Hi all

I need help.

I recently had to sell my Jimmy Bo 400 as it simply wont fit my gripped 450D (xsi). Do you know whether any of the larger Jimmy Bo's would accomodate it, and possibly a 300 f/4 L at the same time, mounted  I think it will 'just' fit in a 500 or 600 but I cannot be sure.
I need a new holster and I loved the comfort of the Jimmy Bo, my obvious choice is a ThinkTank Digi Holster 40 but I'd rather stay Crumpler if possible.

Thanks :)

Jonk

Alrighty boys and girls. I have the 5mdh and a 3mdh, as you can see above.

I underestimated the power of this forum. I am so addicted now to buying lens and such, that the 5mdh now needs a big brother.

What bag will fit this:

T1i no grip now, but who knows.
17-55 hood reversed
50mm hood reversed
12-24 hood reversed
55-250IS
430ex flash
and some other accessories and maybe even personal items. ?

Am I looking at backpacks only, at this point?

I think even the 6MDH would be a tad too small Domke F802 or 803 might work though. Check the reviews on those. I love them. I would have got one if I didn't find something similar for much much cheaper. I just need the inserts now.

You're right. I just looked at your sig link bag reviews and read saw the 7mdh is perfect. Although that thing is way too big. I love the feel and style of the crumpler line, but the bags are giant and don't fit anything compared to the competition. I don't want a black camera bag. I like that the crumpler looks like a diaper or lunch bag;)

I'm really torn between a kata 3n1-20 and a 7mdh.

Let me say say this:
My 5 million dollar home (2009) version will not fit:
t1i mounted with 17-55 hood reversed.
50mm 1.8
Tok 12-24 hood rev.
and flash, I can't get these to fit.

I an old model 7mdh today. I believe I could fit everything in my sig, plus the flash.

Does anyone own a bazillion dollar home and if so, what do you think about it?

Thank you

Yeah, the hoods really mess with things. Especially wide angle hoods. I still don't carry my 17-40's hood even with the 7MDH.
