I thought the 6MDH was way to snug on the 24-70/2.8, no room for any kind of expansion of kit...

It fit fine with 1 flash and 1 other lens, but I didn't like how tight everything was. I have a problem acquiring gear, so I wanted a bit of room to grow.

i think i'm gonna go for the 6MDH

the only thing is how to carry a tripod...

a monopod was ok but no space for tripod

I carry my tripod in a separate dedicated bag... so that was a non-issue...

Thinking to get the Crumpler 7MDH
but don't know where is the good place and good price to get it.

I'm still trying to sell mine.

Why did this Crumpler thread die? Crumpler fans all but gone?

Someone did start a new thread saying they couldn't find any reviews on Crumplers.

Yeah, I know I like some of the other regional bags myself, and hated they did that, but it did make it kind of unique.

Have you found a use for the mesh pouch thing yet? I still can't figure out what exactly it is for.

Not really, especially since I've been on deployment for the last 3 months and don't have the bag with me.

It's a nice extra pouch that sits there. There are already so many places for accessories I'm not sure what to do with it. It holds one flash and sits on top when I used it a couple of times.

Off topic, but you've struck a nerve for me.

I know your pain. Hats off to our American friends who have such a competitive market. Hats off to their suppliers too. They provide good product at good value. Wish we had Adorama and B&H here.

When I bought my Retro 10 ($149 US IIRC.) it cost me $209 Cdn + 13% tax, and I picked it up at Henry's. How does a $149 bag have a value of $236 with dollar at par? Think Tank makes great quality bags; I just question my own judgement at paying so much for them. Same issue for Domke bags too....Billingham bags, on the other hand, are a relative bargain (only because Rob S. is passionate about photography, and empowers photographers such as myself. Thanks Rob(and I have told him so myself!)

The same issue applies to cars, car parts, and probably any other hobby we share with passion.

FYI they sometimes have some good deals at Lozeau (Montreal)
