I'll have to do this is what a '28 f/1.8 should look like' when I get home then spend the following hours wondering if I should have bought the 24L or 35L

What I would really love to do is perform a side by side comparison with someone's sharp 35L. I'm sure the differences will be negliable to most, with the 35L performing marginally better.

The sharpest lens in the world in the wrong hands can produce crap images, and a mediocre lens in the right hands can create masterpieces.
