You think all the peanuts were handed out with the 1D series cameras?
... skip
I have a Mark II and a Mark III and I'm still waiting for my peanuts to arrive. ;)

LOL! Well I am feeling pain down here and you'll got it up there. Maybe some trickle down economics would help both of us? :)

It's just a bit of humor folks, I don't see "troll" at all.
In fact take out the little barbs and what we have here is the best description of Canon's AF points this forum has ever seen!

pcunite, if you repost that gem minus the ribbing, (or grant me permission to edit) I'll add it to the EOS FAQ :)

Thank you so much CyberDyneSystems. I just want to be a help around here. I edited my post but feel free to edit more if needed.

About adding it to the FAQ. I think I need to research more. It is really hard to make out what the sensors are capable of from the technical articles. I think that with AF being a hot topic of late we could use a FAQ on this. I think my post could be more accurate with other people reviewing it first.

Do not call someone a troll

It is rude. I am here to be a respectful member of these forums. A humor post about Canon's AF is not troll worthy.

Guess I missed the humorous intent. Sorry!

Cool, for now I've added it to the current EOS FAQ, which is at best a work in progress.

It actually sort of stands out now as it is not a link to a thread currently, but a post added at the end with link at the top..

We've been adding good posts to the EF Lens FAQ in this way (vs. entire thread links) for a while but this looks to be the first to be handled this way for the EOS section.

Of the thread gets more good info on the topic I'll link to thread as well.
