Gary's '73 Dodge Charger SE is "numbers matching" & has 59,000 miles on it. He bought it from the original owner 4 years ago, & drives it about 200 miles a year to nearby local shows.

100% stock?

Yes. That's what "numbers matching" usually means, regarding the motor, trans, & other factory stamped numbers.
I especially like the "normal" look of the motor without all the chrome that some of these have. Too bad it wasn't the 383! :D

Done! The Michigan chapter had a fund raising there a month ago for the "Michigan Wall".

I still have a lot to learn about cars, but I know beauty when I see it. All the chrome stuff is nice, but a bit overdone. I'm amazed to see something stock in such good natural condition.

My car is an 02, and not even looking that good ;)

Isn't great to live in "Motown"? I always love your posts. I like to glimpse the background cars as well. Like the '64 Fairlane directly behind the Charger or the '55(?) Olds way in the back left of the first shot.

If you only drove it 5,000 miles a year in the Summer & always parked it in a garage... ;)

Isn't great to live in "Motown"?

From my viewpoint, it's great to live north of "Motown"? :D

'55(?) Olds

It's hard to say. Either a '55 or '56 Olds.

Thanks for the comments. Tonight is probably the last evening meet of the year. I have enough shots left for about two more months. Then someone from down under will have to take over. ;)

Yeah, I know. I was speaking as one whom, when traveling around the world always tells people I'm from Detroit, not Rochester Hills.

The '55 and '56 are very close in appearance. I can't say why, but I guessed '55, thus the (?)

That car looks pretty good considering the condition. The engine just needs some TLC and it's gtg.

I love old cars but man that thing is ugly. They just loved putting wood grain on everything back then.
