I had an assignment I had to do so I didn't have much choice. I was using a 70-200mm f4L. It wasn't a driving rain, it was just a bit harder than a drizzle. The camera and the lens both got wet, but I just wiped them off when I was done and they were both fine. I'm pretty pleased with the 40D's build.
