Had a chance to shoot our Mums as they were starting to bloom yesterday.
C&C appreciated and welcome. In PP I took out the bright green of the leaves and stems to highlight the orange and red colors.

Must be time for fall....

I like the colors too, my favorite color is orange! Ithink for me I would rather have it focused up front and more blurred in the back. It is pretty though.

Thanks for the feedback! I went back and forth several times between focusing in the immediate foreground and the buds on the outside edge...

Nice approach with the depth of field.
Mums are hard to shoot in a interesting way because of their repetitiveness.
You've found a nice way.
I think the second is a little too steely looking...

I really like the second one. To me it is "art" the way it looks like steele and the color of the flowers. It looks like a sculpture you would see in a museum.
