Mod if this needs to be moved please do so

I'm trying to attract lots of birds and butterflies to shoot next year. I'm looking into what to plant (I'm in US zone 5A-B) and am hoping some of you may be able to help.

The hummers loved my beebalm (and for some reason the greenbeans???) Finches are into the purple coneflower. We have lavender, lilac, peonies, forsythia among others.

Any suggestions??? (PS I can't seem to keep butterfly bush alive, not sure why?)

salvia (red and pink varieties), cardinal flower, nicotinia, zinnias, hostas, thistle, honeysuckle (hopefully not the invasive kinds) and jewelweed are just a few that are supposed to work.
I had some pentas that were successful this summer. On the other hand, my monarda didn't seem to attract them at all. I'm planning on a new location for this next year.

I know the wild jewelweed works good around here. It's supposed to be invasive and takes years to grow but the hummers sure like it. Also trumpeter vines in my neighbors yard seem to attract them a lot.

What about bushes/trees that provide berries for birds in the winter? Anyone know of any?

viburnums, winterberry holly, autumn olive (although it is sometimes considered invasive), juniper and (although I shouldn't mention it, because it really is a pest of the first quality) multi-flora rose. In fact, I think it's illegal to plant multiflora rose.
