I have ordered the above and will pick them up when I return to the states in a few weeks. I went straight for Canon´s 100-400 lens as birds are my primary interest and I will continue to use my S3 on "macro" for bugs and flowers for the time being ($$$!). While my S3 has for the most part been a pleasure it´s maximum usable ISO is 200. That´s a long way shy of the 1600 and up I see DSLR users shooting at. Plus the shots I see here and elsewhere taken with that high dollar glass really are a world apart from the p&s. So I guess I will need to learn about "raw". Are there any "complete novice" friendly processing programs out there? I´ve seen Bibble mentioned a few times while poking around in the topic.
