Are you all saying that higher shutter speed produces more noise?

I am, but I wasnt trying to prove that, just throw some more noise example photos out there at low shutter speeds.

The noise issue is really a S/N ratio. Think of it like a 5 gallon bucket that someone is pouring water into. If it is about half full you can guess half full and the error factor (s/n ratio) isn't too bad if it is really .495 full. If it is only .005 full and you guess it is .01 full the error factor is significant.

You need to put as much light ( using longer Tv or smaller Av ) on the sensor as you can. After that you can only turn up the ISO.

Probably stating the obvious to some of you guys. ???
