I disagree... I don't own a 40D but the prints from my 5D are easily superior than prints from my 30D.

Nick_C Goldmember 4,042 posts Joined Jul 2006 Location: Tin Mine Country (Cornwall UK) More info | Sep 27, 2007 11:06 | #19 Another vote for the 5D from me, ive used a 30D before now & to be honest I never liked it all that much, after looking through the 40D VF I cant really say its all that much better either, maybe its me but I just enjoy the 5D a whole lot more than I ever did with the cropped bodies, my main use is landscapes & indoor shots at high ISO's (churches etc) so I guess im using the 5D for what it was designed for.
