Delay when pushing the shutter button on 30D

I removed the backup battery, cleaned both sides, tested and replaced it. Everything seemed fine but since it was a random intermittent problem it did eventually return.

So in this case the backup battery was not the issue. I just got the authorization from Canon to send it in under warranty, so we'll see what happens.

I've had that happen a few times shooting in lower light. I know I have had it happen with my 30D and my Rebel XT before. Very rarely happens.

I refuse to send anything to service unless I really have to. Last time I sent a lens for repair, it took about 4 months. :S


I got stuff for taking pictures. :o When things are unclear - It's time to refocus. :rolleyes:

mine only does it in low light.. happenend 1ce or 2ce today shooting Basketball
eh 2 times out of a million aint too bad.
