Seeing / reading some of the other posts on here regarding the moon, I thought I'd have a go myself - took about 15 before I got a couple that I'm half happy with.
Comments please to help point me in the right direction.
Taken with 30D 100 - 400L (at 400), think it was 1/80 f13 or 1/100 f9

I got myself all confused at to which ones which LOL
Both just added a touch of sharpening, one I played around with just a touch on brightness & reduced gamma a little as well. (Was using MS photo editor).
The other is untouched re brightness etc (pretty sure it's the first one).

Well, if the skies stay clear, I guess I have a night or so yet to practice.
The first ones were well over exposed, but these two I thought were postable - thanks for your honest opinion JDM.

This could be my finest yet. I'm pretty pleased with it!!

I think it would be great if their was a whole section about moons, as it's my fave area of photography......

Nice one. Maybe I should have hung on a bit longer until the moon rose a bit further/ thus bigger.?
