Experimented a bit and i guess it has come out nicely.....

A european one. I notice the OP is in India so maybe they use the same electrical system as central europe. We don't use it in the UK though.

I like this a lot.
I think it would even be better if you had the lamp on, but not neccessarily, as it works now.
If you use another cord as the one "reaching out" using a U.S. plug would make it more saleable, from a stock photography point of view.
