racketman Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 28, 2007 16:29 | #12 remove lens, put camera in sensor cleaning mode, hold it upside down and blow the sensor with a Rocket Blower. Piece of cake. You could be unlucky and have bits that wont shift like that ie you'd need to learn the wet clean method but I bet a simple blower gets rid of most of it. Remember to turn camera off when you have finished!

racketman Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 28, 2007 18:56 | #14 bit more scary but basically just 2 drops of Eclipse fluid on a digi pad or similar swab and draw swab across sensor (actually the protective glass), repeat with other side of swab. Fluid will evaporate leaving clean smudge free sensor. You might have to repeat if there is a stubborn spot or slight smudge. Once you've done it you'll wonder what all the fuss is about.
