To be honest, I don't think I like them very much. Nothing really stands out in them. I don't think it's a lack of effort though, you took a lot of more detailed shots, but not of the pop out as beautiful. They almost seem like they were given to the couple as "shots the guests took" Sorry.

not a lot of gear, but I have endless amounts of energy!

i agree with morlia. they definitely seem like snapshots, and could use some pp attention. keep at it.

What got to me the most is that most of them seem to be slightly out of focus. Lack of colour depth and really look like they were taken by a guest

I would spend more time on 1 photo and get it perfect in stead of taking 500 photos, take 300 well thought out photos. Get in closer, fill your frame with what matters.

Is there a possibility that it is your "Format to video" settings?
Do you have any still shots that you can post, that aren't in a moving slideshow?

Couple of things:

Watch your White Balance, most were a little 'cool'
Keep it level! A lot of shots are wonky.
Direct flash...I know you need it, but maybe try to capture a little background light or use a diffuser.
Less is more. I advise you spend more time getting less pictures of a higher standard.

Thanks,

Sam

Were you the official photographer at this wedding, or a guest?

Yes I know they look like snapshots, but that is what the client wanted. They just wanted me to take a lot of shoots. They told me to take very casual photos, so that is what I did and they are very happy.

Casual photos are fine but I think you could have done better. I do not want to be offensive but from what I saw they look like they were shot with a point and shoot with direct flash. Maybe some of it is from the video presentation but a lot of your scenic photos for example have chairs and other distracting objects lurking into the frame. And the direct flash is not flattering at all. Sorry for the harsh critique but you can take lots of photos and still have them be of high quality.
