Yeah, I understand that Canon is catering to people who want to.....well.....point and shoot....like I said, for those of us who invest in DSLRs, something ain't right here. Suppose I want to just switch to Action mode and let the camera sort out the best settings for optimal exposure. Does that mean that I am too dumb/lazy/busy to make fine adjustments in RAW?

I expect that in future releases, but please...

Ok I have Undutchable hack and RAW was not available from the getgo in basic mode. What is available is the ability to change the RAW+jpeg jpeg size in Cfn which is not available in unhack DRebel. Now to be technical RAW and JPEG was never available in the REBEL because its a film base body.

We must have different UnDutchable versions. Just now I took a RAW shot in green box mode. Here's the EXIF:
