I've had a 350D for about 18 months, and in the last 3-4 months the autofocus points (not the ones that you can always see- the ones that flash red to indicate what autofocus points the camera is using) are fading, to the point that I can't really see what AF points are in use.

Any ideas?

It's a very well-loved camera- probably over 15,000 photos.

Thanks

The brightness of the focus points are Canon adjustable. I know this by having had a focus screen/af points replaced during a long drawn out repair by Canon NZ, the second to last attempt they had, the points were so bright, they dominated an area of about 4mm round, took it back in & was adjusted & returned to me on the spot (took about 20 minutes)

Do you know how to adjust them?

Sorry, I would imagine that there would be either an internal pot. or electronic adjustment accessable only via Canon specialised software.
