Thank you everyone, very much appreciated.

It was extremely tough trying to get the in-flight shot due to the tiny DOF on offer - although the Hoverfly was very co-operative, and seemed to hang around this small patch of Nasturtiums.

Thank you anywho for your great comments! :)

Excellent series of images.

#1 looks a bit dark on my monitor, but you have kept very good facial detail, that's hard to do, well done.

#2 Very well done, pity it wasn't on a frontal shot though :( Very sharp shot, again, not easy to do with HIF

#3 It's a nice shot, but appears oversaturated to me, and soft (in the eyes), pity.

#4 As a crop of #3, the softness in the eyes is more apparent, pity :(

#5 Excellent shot, nice exposure, done well avoiding highlights. Sharp as well. My only (slight) criticism is that perhaps it's a bit too tight of a crop...other than that, very nice. I would have liked to have seen more free space on the right hand side (if possible).

#6 My favourite shot, again very nice exposure and sharpness, and composition really works for me in this shot. Lovely.

#7 Same comments as #3.

Dave
