NOTE: I've been having a bit of trouble with people being able to see the photos... they should be viewable now... many apologies mods for having to do this but my server's not co-operating!

So, after much browsing on this wedding forum, I've decided to be brave and post a few photos that I took at a friend's wedding a few weeks ago.

I was a guest at the wedding but the hired photographers were not sticking around for the reception after the ceremony, so Emily (my friend, the beautiful bride) had asked me to bring my camera gear along.

I've decided to try out some processing techniques outside of my comfort zone (after all, you don't learn and grow if you don't step out of your comfort zone :D) and I'd like some honest critiquing please (both on processing and technique). I've been hired on to shoot a girlfriend's wedding next July, so I'm expecting to do quite a bit of learning and growing in the coming months.

1. Em and Dave kissing... they like to kiss a lot. In fact, they had a slideshow of all the places they had visited around the world with them kissing in the frames. It was absolutely cute.

2. First dance - This was totally awesome... they did an impromptu swing/60's style dance routine! Dave was dipping and twirling her all over the dance floor... I've never seen anything like it as a first dance.

Hmm... the photos don't seem to want to appear. A-ha! Figured it out ;)

I'm going to have to add more attached images here... sorry mods... my server's down right now, otherwise I would be embedding them.

3. Father/Daughter dance

4. Same father/daughter dance

Crap... hmm... I'm really not sure why the pics aren't showing up. I can see them on my monitor and my boyfriend's.

Can you guys see any of the photos or none at all?

AND... last two...

5. This one's my fav. I love the expression on Emily's dad's face.

6. Cutting of the (cup)cake! - These were THE best cupcakes I have ever had... her Em's neighbour made them for her wedding. De-lish!

Nope... Have you changed the file name along the way? You may need to re-paste new links for each photo.

I've put the most recent filenames in the link, post-processing. Not quite sure what to do now...

*edit: I've just attached them to the posts. Sorry for all the troubles everyone!

They all look very noisy, what ISO were you shooting at?

Nice captures but I agree with Dan that they look quite noisey, exif says they were shot at ISO 400 though and they look quite a lot more than that.

Possibly shot at ISO400, but underexposed and brought up in post process?
