totally impractical without micro adjusting rail on tripod and studio lighting but for the record at x1 the combo equates to about x3.2mag and at x5 to about x10mag.
1p coin held in front of lens, flash lit.

Good detail, still seems very sharp Toby with little fringing. You can see how shallow the DOF is in #1. Have you tried MPE-65, tubes and Raynox hehehe.

theres a few suppliers on E bay - usualy come from Germany. I'm waiting for the less powerful DCR 250 to arrive (£30).
