i have my xti setup to automatically rotate the pictures right side up when i shoot in portrait orientation. when i review them they are correct, but when i upload them to my pc i have to manually change them. 100's of pictures takes a long time. anyone have any ideas? thanks.

What software are you using to view them on your computer?

That option is only meant to rotate them on your camera screen. You can use Zoom Browser, which comes with your camera software, to rotate lots of images at once on your computer.

If you are running XP on your computer you can select multiple pictures to rotate by holding down the "CTRL" and selecting (clicking) the pics you want rotated (as long as you are rotating them the same way). I had the same problem rotating each with WIN98 - took forever! I put a bullet in the old computer when I saw how good the new computer was!

Not unless they changed it.
Works well with my 1D2, iView, DPP, LR and whatever other software I use.
