I messed with it a bit before the light faded, holy crap is 6.5 fps fast when you're coming from an XTi! I used my 400mm f/5.6L on my 40D for this one:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Byte size: ZERO | PHOTOBUCKET ERROR IMAGE

Didn't you know you are supposed to go find a duck for your first shot? :lol:

Good shot though. And yes, the 6.5fps is awesome.

I'm anti-duck-first-shot. :) Everyone shoots a duck, sometimes we need to throw a wrench in that tradition lol.

Besides, there are no ducks nearby me, but there are tons of other birds!

Nice shot Jon with great detail in the chest feathers....the only thing I would recommend is to play with the highlights & see if you can pull out the left eye a bit.
