Havent managed to get out at all recently what with work. Finally got some time to have a mess about lastnight and this was what i came up with. Bought the Flowers for the wife of course
not just for taking photos.

The flower was positioned approximatley 3-4cm behind the drops at the same height so the flower that is being refracted provides the background colour. For the Drops i used Glycerine, which is used in baking apparently. I find they hold much better than water. The image is focus stacked from 4 shots and combined in a program called combinezm. I used my 430EX speedlite as the main light source, this was diffused using kitchen towel. Exif f5.6, 1/200, ISO160. Hope that helps. Alistair.
