I never thought that this was this simple to do, I really have to dive into photoshop. So what do you think?

Selective color isn't really working for me with this picture. Also, what prompted you to leave the color in the purple flower in the back? Regardless, you did a nice job with your masking and everything, so it seems like you have the basics of the technique down.

Not my favorite but good work on the mask also

I did the purple in upper right to see what it would look like. I dont like that either.

Torkk, honestly I have seen very very few selective color images that I thought were good, and none that I would call excellent. This unfortunately falls short in my opinion. that much said, you have done a nice masking job.
