Rosemary Leaf Beetle

pretty beetle about 8mm, Ladybird like but bulkier. Grubs of this species cause serious damage to Lavendar/Rosemary. Quite a recent import to UK.
MK3 MPE65, ISO1000. Not a great shot, will try and get a better one.

Nice shot Toby, really like the colors.
It's a shame though when non native species get transplanted to places they shouldn't be.

That's a pretty looking beetle Toby, and a pretty good shot for ISO 1000 I think.

Looks good to me - beautiful beetle. Interesting- do we put up with pests if they are beautiful looking ?- could be an interesting selection pressure
