This was a very hard challenge to judge! They were all worthy entries and it was a difficult choice... Drum roll please....

The winner is:

1. Athena's "Tuk Tuk #1147": Perfect panning technique with excellent background blur. This image has all the right elements brought together to exemplify speed and motion. I am disturbed that the driver doesn't have his eyes on the road though...It looks like he's really going...

2. Monty28428's "Last Lap": Again, very nice panning technique to go along with the linear motion blur. I especially like the blur around the legs, the feet and the wheels, all which emphasize movement and speed.

3. Apollo 11's "Daddy, I'm Home": A kiddie version of motocross! Nice pan with good linear motion blur makes it look like she's going faster than she should be! The over sized helmet and blurry swing set add a nice touch to this image.

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all for the great entries! Looking forward to the next challenge Athena!;)

My personal favorite was eastcoastsponger's. But congrats to the winners - they were all excellent shots.

Super entries... Well done Athena. I knew when I saw that it was a winner! I love the look on that chap's face as he flies past (no doubt into a fruit stall).
