Took some photos of my mates bands at a little show they did at the New Roadmender in Northampton. Used a Canon 400D with a 50mm f1.8 lense.

Click for full size picture.

Very, very nice set of photo's mate. Ive just recently purchased a 50mm 1.8 but have not yet had time to test it out. How are you finding the lense?

Also, what kind of settings did you use for the shots? (Ie: ISO and all that stuff)

Canon EOS 400D | Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 | Tamron AF 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6

Thanks for kind comments.

I find the lense amazing, it makes it a hell of a lot easyer in venues with poor lighting.

Iso was either 800 or 1600.
White balance was auto but ajusted in RAW.

Cheers,

James

Around 1/125 to 1/80 with about f1.8 to f2.8

I like #2, 3 and 6.
On #4 the focus isn't where I'ld want it.
Some images have a bit too much NR applied I think.

Oh, I see. I didn't do any noise reduction though.
