20D's are even more of a bargain. They go for $500US in great condition. Take just as good of photos as the 30D.

I've bought plenty of camera toys from there... all at a fraction of the price you'd find at any store. You just have to know how to use it and do your homework. There are actually authentic camera stores (i.e. Canoga Camera) that have turned to eBay and if you know how to look, you can find true stores selling their products at a great price. Also, did your friend use PayPal? PayPal is a secure way of sending money online... he probably could have contacted PayPal about her purchase and they would have gotten his money back from him. ONE handsome husband + THREE cute puppies + ONE 30D + THREE pieces of glass (Nifty Fifty, 18-55IS, 55-250) = ONE happy EmmyLou!

Oct 03, 2007 14:07 | #34 Well I have it in my posession, it's as described, works (tho i've not pixel peeped yet). Viewfinder, lcd and handling seem miles better than the 350D. No matter how much you learn, there's always someone who knows more.
