Found this little snake while out trying (haven't had much luck lately) to find birds today. This is a first for me as I've never seen a pgymy in the wild before. Got a few shots of it then another one appeared from the grass but never got close enough for me to get them both. Then they both went slithering off.

They don't get bigger than 2ft. This one was probably getting close to that.

Nice picture. I would have loved to see its whole body too. I don't know about their population in Oklahoma, but they are quite rare in Kentucky - almost impossible to find.

Critique and advice are always appreciated, even when it's brutally honest.
