it's been almost a month of use and i've gotten up to 6500 shots. unless it's sports or trying to hdr merge w/o tripod, it's never really used 10fps, mainly single shot or silent modes.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Man I have had mine since may and have just been 3,5 weeks in africa but have not even shot 7.000 yet. And of those about 2600 was shot in africa. But I have not used the 10 fps a lot. I actually set low burst to 6 fps and used that most of the time. Only a few time did i switch to 10 fps.

Each one of mine has about 3,000 shots on them. Just cause it does 10fps doesnt mean you have to hold it and burst 100 off at a time. hehehe :)

hehe, I can't help firing it a fastest speed when I am shooting for sports. I love that feeling... So... 2 months for 10K is quite regular here, huh? ;)

I'm just close to 9600 now, bought it 2,5 months ago. I rarely used 10fps though... I shot in "L" most of the time so far...set to 6 fps.
