With MT-24EX, and 2 Stofen diffusers, most of my macro shots get blown to some degree.
I normally shoot at M, ISO=200, ETTL-II=Evaluative.
How to lower down flash output level ? lowering ISO (down to 50) or tuning down FEC ? Other methods ?

Not sure the Stofens are totally useless but think they can have a nasty side effect of shooting light straight in the lens if you are not careful.
