With MT-24EX, and 2 Stofen diffusers, most of my macro shots get blown to some degree.
I normally shoot at M, ISO=200, ETTL-II=Evaluative.

How to lower down flash output level ? lowering ISO (down to 50) or tuning down FEC ? Other methods ?

TIA

all the flash will do is allow u to use fec + and - iso is done on the camara,u can also turn 1 flash head off or use ratios to allow more shadows on your pics.

did u get a manual with your mt-24ex?if so it will tell u in the manual how u can adjust your fec

edit - the sten fen diffuser is doing nothing for u..im sorry to say it but the sten fen diffuser for the mt-24ex does nothing.u need to find some plastic simula to this

Agree with MJ - try using FEC control. Not sure the Stofens are totally useless but think they can have a nasty side effect of shooting light straight in the lens if you are not careful. You probably would be better off with just some plastic milk caton bits fixed to the flash ends.
