CS3, LR, & PSE4. Catalog?

I have these three Adobe software programs. I like Lightroom for most post processing and am very new to CS3, but I like the file system in Elements 4 the best.

I have been importing new files into Lightroom but I still prefer the Elements catalog.

I there an easy way to import to Elements, process in Lightroom, and round trip to CS3 and back to Elements, or do I give up on Elements & use LR?

Anyone tried using PSE4 for the library function of Lightroom?
