Not too long ago I shot some photos of my cousin Ashley. It was my first time with off camera flash so it was definitely an experiment. I also wanted to try a few different new PP styles.

These were shot with a 580EXII into a silver umbrella at camera right, and a 430EX used as a hair light. As Im sure you can see, for some reason the 430EX was not firing. Its weird, I had never had a problem with it, and it works absolutely fine that day. must have been mad that I borrowed another flash.

CC definitely appreciated, I wanted them to look the way they do to go with her personality.

I really like the lighting on the first and the third one.

Nice! My favorite for overall results is #2, love the pose and the lighting looks nice.
#1 and 3 are good too, just wish the top of her head/hair didn't blend in with the BG so much, otherwise nice!
Not a fan of the desat of #4, but that's just me. :)

Great lighting on the first 3. I like the smile in the second shot.

I like 'em!
I'd say these are a whole lot better than my first try with off-camera flash.
