What type of bulb should I use?

I'm making a light diffuser for indoor use, and I'll be shooting a model. What type of light bulb should I use to get the best results?

What's your primary light going to be? You want to use one of the same type and temperature as that, usually. And decide where you stand on the digital noise/slow shutter speed/large aperture continuum (pick 2 and accept the third, but brighter lights will give you a broader range within it)
