Thank you gil711... I am using a 30D and can''t find IIs software... is "IIs" the name? do you know if canon has a download link for that.. let me search their site... thank you again..

The current software for Windows users is called "EOS Utility". That allows remote capture and will open each photo as it is taken in either Zoombrowser or DPP, set in the EOS Utility preferences. Alternatively, you can have some other software, such as Lightroom, monitor your download folder and import each photo as it is captured and display it.

Oct 03, 2007 09:30 | #9 It is on the EOS utility disc ( it is on my 400d).Plug in the camera, switch in on and EOS will open.Select the folder where you want the shots( Monitor Folder) and then select camera settings/remote shooting,. Take the picture using the camera icon( Blue in my case), Zoom Brower will open and display the picture Chris

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
