more pseudoscorpions I'm afraid. Found one attached to a single fly which promptly tried to mate with another one. Then realised it looked like the pseudoscorpion was gripping a leg and the fly's gonads. Not suprisingly after trying to attach to the female for about a minute, the male did not succeed and went on his way still dragging along the pseudoscorpion. A new type of contraception ?

Oh dear me. Ouch. Nice series... but poor bug! I really like the lighting and colours, especially in the first.. What's that background?

It's my new compost bin lid- makes exposure difficult though - have to drop my normal FEC setting by a full stop.

there seem to be about 30 species in the UK; only devoted website seemed pretty dull-unlike your action shots!

That psuedoscorpion is a very neat creature. Never seen anything like it. Great shots.

Wow is that a psuedoscorpion never seen anything like that here.
I wonder what it feels like when it pinch a human skin?
