It's been a little while since I shot macro. Mostly because of the rainy weather, but also because there's not much left to shoot. I'm going to start learning how to take landscapes.

Here's a shot from the little time I had today. I think I'm losing interest in macro, maybe if there was more to shoot... I don't know. I want to get into shooting urban landscapes, too bad I live in a small city.

Nice colours Pete.

I'm not fed-up with macro, it's just when I get the opportunity to shoot, there isn't much about.

I'd love to be out there shooting now, instead of waiting for a database restore to complete, but my only chance will come after 5:00 pm, when the damp and light levels severely curtail my options.

I'm going to try shooting birds this winter, though with only a 70-300, I may struggle... Prepare for a good snigger at my failures. ;)

Maybe its because I've been shooting pretty much every day for 2 hours since I got my camera. So I had a macro overdose. Still, I want to try shooting other subjects since macro is all I have tried to do well since I started.
