Problems with Raw files

How do they look when you review them on the camera's LCD?

Don't worry is not you is.....

Canon released 40 D before having all the software available with serveral OS. At the present time Dual Core iMacs are not capable to recognize RAW images created by 40 D. it will only upload JPG and the RAW images will be shown as grey out.

The same applies to Vista users. You may want to try using Image Browser or Zoom Browser it worked for me.

I spent nearly 1.5 hour with Canon on the phone, the case has been escalated will have a conf call with Canon tomorrow about this problem.

Huh?

1: OP has 20D, not a 40D.
2: Random files being corrupt have zero to do with RAW compatibility issues.
