Hello all,

This should be a fairly simple question. I have a new 1D MarkIII and wanted to wipe the body down after a couple shoots I have done. I primarily shoot fireground scenes and that tends to get dirty. What is the best way to clean the body of these professional cameras...products, tips, tricks, etc? The viewfinder glass, the body, rear LCD, etc?

Thanks,
Keith

I use alcohol monitor wipes to clean the outside of the body, along with a rocket blower & a brush for the crevices.

I just use a slightly damp lint-free cloth to wipe down my camera bodies and a microfiber cloth on the LCD screens.

So the alchohol wipes won't damage the finish or the rubber on the grip over time?

Thanks for your reply,
Keith

I hope not. I don't do if very often, just after off road races with my camera & myself are covered in dust & mud.
