Hi all, well it arrived and I'm loving it. First decent images attached. Comments appreciated as I'm learning with this one. Man, its so sensitive too.

Just realised I didn't reduce to 800 on widest side and now has halos due to forum resizing. Bugger!

i just got rid of mine not cause it was rubish but i have 50mm and 105mm and the work im doing with the 50mm as in full shots not 1:1 and cause i have the mpe i didnt need it any more.

its a great lens...i dont think much of the clutch...silly idear if u ask me but the lens rocks...if u look at lordvs shots hes uses the 105mm and set of kenko tubes..if u want to go a bit closer i would sergest getting the kenko tubes..

the dew-covered Lacewing is an unusual image. Look fwd to seeing more from the 105.

its a great lens and perfect for intro macro. youll have that lens on the cam more than anything else i bet. nice lacewing with dew on it in the second picture.
