ok who could i go to locally brampton,ontario,canad​a that would test my 40d for back and forward focusing. my shots dont seem right but i think it may just be me. think henrys would do this? think another local? i really dont know any other dslr experts in my area. need to see ive got a return for 1 week and a couple days so if theres a issue it goes back to store.

also should the lcd screen when taking pics afterwards show this, baby boy using a bib white in color. it displays the pic but the white bib is black and the sky behind too but like flashing on and off. norm or am i got issue there too or camera telling me something like for the exposure?

The flashing on and off is your highlight indicator showing that the whites are being blown out. This feature can be turned on and off -- see your owners manual for the details.

thanx for the help damm seems learning as i go, prob user error more than camera and maybe im just looking for issues that im having in my head. well still hopefully i be more confertable using this tool which seems really complex right now.
