Just playing around, tell me what you think of the crop, and you can be honest.:)

Dont like it.

I see how you are trying to create a sense of motion/direction towards the kid. I think it MIGHT do well with a little more space to the right of the kid. Put about as much more space as the kid is wide and see how that works.

I am Henry. NOT Hank. And certainly not a length of rope tied in a knot. ;)
My family calls me Hen, but you can call me Chicken. See you out there!

First of all, your name cracks me up.:)

Second, I will try that. There is not much room. Here is the original

I'd say something like this might work.. I did a midnight black action because your original was somewhat soft... I think it's washed out now and would not use that action if it were mine...

Anyway.. Showing the tower at the end of the bridge, and some of the other side of the bridge helps to keep the eye moving, in my opinion.. ;)

personally, i would have cropped it so that you could see the rest of the path he was on ... to me hes WAY to far to the right of the image ..

maybe cut off 6-8 pickets on the fence, and show the rest of the bridge that hes on

ROFL, issues. Don't we all. I like what you did. The original has some effects added to it. Don't ask me what they are. I was just in the mood to hit all of them in the Nik program.:)

Thanks for the input neil85. I always like getting another's artistic opinion.

Kristy's second picture is by far the best, it's hard to believe that it was rescued from the first picture.

The original is cropped WAY to close on the boys right side...Kristy's edit is better. He just felt too close to the edge in the first one posted, like he had wandered into the picture rather than being part of it, KWIM?
If the tower hadn't been there I probably wouldn't have cropped it with that much space on the right but with it there and still keeping the picture 'unedited' (not cloning stuff out) then Kristy's is better. (Good work Kristy)
Just my 2 cents.
