I found this hansom fellow making a home for him/her self in the flower garden, being now it's October and Halloween is right around the corner this one gives me the creeps LOL

I walked into one of these webs yesterday. It was massive, nearly 3 feet in diameter. No sign of the maker though... Maybe just as well. ;)

It is nice to see some of the eyes on spider shots. I know it can be hard, as they do not take up the best position, but it does add a lot more interest to the subject.

What a nice looking garden orb weaver - trust me, these guys will leave you well and truly alone, they're not aggressive. Another very good shot, I like the composition of this image, and you've managed to nail the eyes pretty good as well, which is no mean feat with these, as usually the slightest wind makes them webs move back and forth...what lens setup Daniel?

Hey gang thanks for the replies.... The setup was not meant for this I just happened on to it LOL I have my 580 camera mounted with a sofen diffuser on it, the lens was my 24-70 f/2.8L 1/200 sec. f/13 ISO 100 hand held
