Took this one a few days ago, I like the background and the way that it is almost like a halo around the hoverfly.

Thanks for the kind words guys - I'm quite happy with this image, Hoverfly turned out very sharp (crops show how sharp it is, this isn't alway apparent with the full image), lighting was pretty good as well. I was surprised it was sharp, cos there was a light breeze, and checking the LCD monitor it didn't look sharp.

The background is OOF leaves behind the subject.

Toby - no way, the Aussies are gonna win!!! Aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi! Not long to go now, probably won't be able to watch it though, my TV isn't set up, and my parents can't stand Rugby lol...they love Tennis instead...
