I've found my 30D's exposure to be quite accurate, but there are times when even spot metering can't give the exposure that is wanted. Then, the adjustment needed might be either up or down as circumstances dictate. I couldn't find an option in the poll that represented my experience, sorry.

I always try to correctly expose and PP afterwards, but I constantly hear of people exposing to the right to avoid noise and retain detail. 1Dii / Sigma 100-300 F4 / Canon 430EXii
