My 1D MIII arrived today...and...well

.........I couldn't be happier. Its fantastic! Seems to have no focusing issues at all and paired up with my new 70-200mm 2.8 IS its simply outstanding. I am looking forward creating some new images with it this weekend.


My Gear: 1D Mark III,30D, 24-105 f/4L IS, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 85mm 1.8, 100mm 2.8 Macro, 580ex II Flash 430ex Flash lowepro AW 300.

well done - i'm loving mine and i've shot about 800 shots here at disney in florida so far!!!! even got rained shooting lightning mcqueen and i wasn't even nervous about it getting wet! love the camera!!! 16-35 lens is almost fixed to it!

Just don't really have the need for two bodies often enough. Besides, I'll probably go for the new 5D-plus-whatever-else the name turns out to be as a backup body.
