Hi,
The situation:
I have 2 weddings booked in for next year (July & November). These will be my first 'proper' (i.e. paid) weddings. I do not doubt my ability at all and thankfully the people who are employing me don't either. But- I really feel that I could do with some more experience even if it is just shadowing a more experienced photographer to see how the approach things.
Does anyone know if there are any schemes that operate like this? I live in the UK (North East). How have others got their experience?

Thanks for the help! I have posted quite a few questions here over the past week and the advice has been gratefully received. Cheers!

Rhys.

just get out and shoot people in different settings ...... family, friends, etc.

Use your camera(s) and lenses until you are totally at ease with them and then go for it ...... you have nothing to fear beyond what any wedding pro fears. You'll learn lots from your first couple of weddings and that will be the case no matter how much preparation you do.
