Good morning, fellow photogs. I don't get to this section often, though from what I've seen you guys are awesome.

So I saw this spider, ran inside grabbed my camera, ran back out and snapped a few. This is with the 70-200 f2.8 IS, and a 25 and 36mm tube. It ain't easy, that's for sure.

He/she was very close to the ground and I had my tripod in some bushes, bending down, trying to use LiveView also.

Nice shot Mark. Keep at it, you'll get better or you'll get some major pains trying. I had lots of subjects this morning but the skeeters were eating me alive. They found every spot that I missed with my skeeter repellant.

When it comes to spiders, you have to take what they offer... :)

Good effort Mark.

Good shot Mark, good to see you in this neck of the woods :) It's an Argiope of some sort. Did a pretty good job of this, their webs move at the slightest breeze, and the yellows are easy to blow. If you can look close enough, the coloured stripes are sort of like feathers.
