I thought this would be interesting. This thread is not for rumors but for what we think the 5D upgrade should be named.

Traditionally the lower the single digit number, the higher the camera is in Canon's line-up. That's why the "1" is reserved for its top of the line pro bodies. In the film days the eos 3 was a higher end camera than the eos 5. But who knows? I voted eos 5D Mark II.

That's what I guess it'll be called.

And I want that accompanying my (hopefully) 1D3. :D

If they keep switching the numbers around every time they upgrade cameras they'll run out of single digits eventually :p Nothing wrong with 5dII! ;)
